IMALENT Flashlight Buying Guide: High-Lumen Models, EDC Lights, and What to Know Before You Buy

IMALENT sells high-lumen flashlights direct from its own store, from a 200,000-lumen flagship to pocket-size EDC lights. This guide walks the current lineup on published specs, the step-down behavior behind the headline numbers, and what to check before you order.

IMALENT is a Shenzhen flashlight maker selling direct from imalentstore.com, with a catalog running from a 200,000-lumen flagship to keychain-size EDC lights: about 68 product pages live in the store sitemap as of September 2026. This guide is built from what IMALENT publishes, product pages, specification tables and store policies, not from hands-on testing; every number below is IMALENT's own, so you can open the same page and check it.

The store navigation is the fastest map of the lineup. One nav item, Brightest Flashlight, links straight to a single product page instead of a collection: the MS32. The rest sort under Flashlight (with LED, EDC, Tactical, Powerful, Rechargeable and Top Flashlights collections), M-Series and R-Series flagships, headlamps, batteries and accessories, and scene collections for camping, emergency, fishing, hunting, police and work lights.

  • High-output lamps: the M-Series and R-Series families, with headline outputs in the tens of thousands of lumens and weights in kilograms with their packs.
  • EDC lights: the MS03, LD70, BL50 and BL70 sit in the EDC Flashlight collection, built around one 21700 or 18650 cell.
  • Headlamps: kept as their own collection rather than folded into EDC.
  • Batteries and accessories: spare packs, chargers and charging cables sold separately, which matters for the multi-cell lamps, whose packs are not a size you will find in a drawer.

Two discontinued models, the SR32 and the MS18, still keep their product pages up, and both carry a notice that the product is discontinued and point buyers to the MS32 as the upgrade. They are not current recommendations and are not in the sections below.

Four models worth knowing

These four are presented by role, not by rank; each has a limitation the spec table makes visible before you pay.

IMALENT MS32: the extreme-output flagship

The MS32 is the model the store treats as the top of the line: the nav item literally named Brightest Flashlight points at its product page, and the SR32 and MS18 pages point back to it as the upgrade they recommend. The spec table lists 32 CREE XHP70 2nd gen LEDs on a 21700 battery pack, 200,000 lumens peak, 655,000 candela, 1,618 m (about 5,300 ft) of throw, and up to 345 hours, in MS32 (cool white) or MS32W (warm white).

The headline number is a burst, and the runtime table says so: Turbo is listed as 200,000 lumens for the first 45 seconds, then 40,000 for the following 40 minutes; High III opens at 90,000 and steps down to 40,000 after 70 seconds, running 42 more; High II is a steady 40,000 for 45 minutes. The 345-hour maximum belongs to the 80-lumen moonlight mode. Weight is the other fact to read before buying: 3,096 g with the battery included, about 6.8 lb, at 242 mm long with a 149 mm head, so this is a two-hand lamp, not a carry light. Waterproofing is IP-56, which is not a submersible rating.

Who it fits: buyers who want the extreme-output end of the catalog and will read the runtime table before judging the light on its first 45 seconds. Check the weight, the IP-56 rating and the MS32/MS32W choice before paying.

IMALENT SR16: high output with a handle

The SR16 is the tier below the flagship in output but still very much a high-lumen lamp: 55,000 lumens peak from 16 CREE XHP50.3 HI LEDs on a four-cell 21700 pack. Its throw figure is the longer of the two big lamps here: 1,715 m (about 5,625 ft) at 736,000 candela, against the MS32's 1,618 m. The accessories list includes a metal handle. The table lists 1,130 g, about 2.5 lb, at 158 mm long with a 109 mm head, and the page's own surfaces disagree on one qualifier: the specification table labels that weight battery excluded while the marketing copy calls the same figure battery included. Treat it as an approximate weight.

The step-down curve is steeper than the flagship's: Turbo lists 55,000 lumens for 42 seconds before stepping to 11,000 for 50 minutes; High opens at 23,000 and steps to 11,000 after 3 minutes, running 48 more. The table then gives 11,000 for 52 minutes, 4,200 for 2 hours, 2,800 for 3 hours and 1,200 for 7 hours, the figure behind the up-to-7-hour runtime claim. One honest note: the page's marketing copy describes a 50-lumen moonlight mode at 98 hours, but the spec table lists no moonlight row. Waterproofing is IP56, impact resistance 0.5 m.

Who it fits: buyers who want long-distance reach and high output in something closer to one-hand carry than the MS32. Check the weight qualifier above.

IMALENT MS03: the compact powerhouse

The MS03 is the model IMALENT's own product title calls the brightest EDC flashlight, and the numbers support the category even with the superlative attributed to the store: 13,000 lumens peak from 3 CREE XHP70.2 LEDs on a single 4,000 mAh 21700 cell, 26,320 candela and 324 m (about 1,060 ft) of throw, at 110 mm long with a 36 mm head. On weight, IMALENT publishes two figures, one per surface: the specification table says 187 g with the battery included, the marketing copy says 117 g with the battery excluded. Waterproofing is IPX-8, listed as submersible to 2 m, with Type-C charging.

The runtime table keeps the burst shape: Turbo at 13,000 lumens for 45 seconds, then 2,000 for 70 minutes; High at 8,000 for the first minute, stepping to 2,000 and running 72 minutes. The 27-hour maximum belongs to the 150-lumen low mode. The box includes the 21700 cell, a holster, a USB cable, a lanyard and two O-rings, so the battery is not a separate purchase.

Who it fits: buyers who want EDC-class output in a jacket pocket and will take a burst-output light as a burst-output light. Check which weight figure you are comparing and whether the 45-second burst matches your jobs.

IMALENT BL50: white light plus ultraviolet

The BL50 is the utility pick in this set, and the utility is a second LED: a CREE XHP50.3 HI white LED plus a 365 nm ultraviolet LED at 698 mW, on a single 3,000 mAh 18650 cell. White output peaks at 3,600 lumens with 45,780 candela and 428 m (about 1,400 ft) of throw, and the runtime table tops out at 280 hours in a 5-lumen moonlight mode. The table lists the head diameter at 93.5 mm and the weight at 158 g with the battery included, about 0.35 lb. Waterproofing is the broadest on this page, IP68, listed as submersible to 2 m, in Grey, Military Green, Black and Royal blue.

As with every model here, the burst is not the runtime: Turbo lists 3,600 lumens for 70 seconds before stepping to 1,200 for 68 minutes; High opens at 2,000 and steps to 1,200 after 3 minutes 30 seconds, running 70 more. Below that the table lists 1,200 for 1 h 16 min, 600 for 3 h 10 min, 200 for 6 h 28 min, and the 280-hour moonlight top end. One caution from the research: the store's measurements string for this model is identical to the BL70's and reads inconsistently as served, so the head diameter and weight are the reliable numbers to compare.

Who it fits: buyers who want one EDC light that also carries a UV LED, without moving up to the heavier multi-cell lamps. Check what 365 nm UV does in your routine and which of the four colors is in stock.

How to read IMALENT flashlight specs

The most useful habit is to read the runtime table, not the headline. Every output row has the form peak, step-down, time at each stage: a row like Turbo output: 55,000~11,000 Lumens; Run-time: 42s+50min means 55,000 lumens for 42 seconds, then 11,000 lumens for 50 minutes. The tilde is a step-down, never a range of choices. Some rows use a hyphen for the same thing, and the LD70 formats its rows in parentheses, so do not assume one style across pages.

Three numbers fall out of any page quickly:

  • Peak output (lumens): what the light does in its first burst. Compare it knowing every model on this page steps down inside the first 3 minutes.
  • Sustained output (lumens): the number after the step-down, and the one that decides whether the light is useful past its party trick. The MS32 still holds 40,000 lumens for 40 minutes, but the point is knowing which number is which.
  • Maximum runtime (hours): IMALENT lists this as the moonlight or lowest mode, never as runtime at peak. The MS32's 345 hours are 80-lumen hours.

Throw (meters) and intensity (candela) are the reach numbers, and they are not brightness: a light can be less bright in lumens and throw farther if it concentrates the beam. The SR16's 55,000 lumens at 736,000 candela throw 1,715 m, while the MS03's 13,000 lumens at 26,320 candela stop at 324 m. If distance is the job, compare candela and meters.

Battery systems decide the carry, not just the runtime: the MS32 runs a 12-cell 21700 pack, the SR16 a 4-cell pack, the MS03 a single 21700 and the BL50 a single 18650. Weight labels also vary between surfaces on the same page, as the SR16 and MS03 sections show, so compare weights with the battery qualifier named.

Finally, cross-check page copy against the specification table before trusting a mode: on the SR16 the copy describes a moonlight mode the table does not list, and on the MS03 the copy mentions a strobe the table does not list. The table is the maintained surface.

Choosing a model by use case

The four spotlights map to four questions, and the dividing lines are weight, throw and runtime rather than the lumen headline.

  • Extreme output as the point: the MS32. Accept a 3,096 g lamp with a pack, and buy it for what a 200,000-lumen burst is worth in its first 45 seconds; read the IP-56 rating and the runtime table first.
  • Long reach on foot: the SR16. The longer throw figure of the two big lamps here at 1,715 m, a metal handle in the box, about 2.5 lb on the strap with the weight-qualifier caveat from its section.
  • A pocket light with serious output: the MS03. 110 mm and 187 g with the battery, submersible-rated IPX-8, a burst of 13,000 lumens from one 21700 cell, and the strobe question from its section.
  • A utility light that also does UV: the BL50. 158 g with the battery, IP68-rated, with the 365 nm UV LED as the reason to pick it over a white-only light. If UV is not the point, the LD70 is a smaller 4,000-lumen EDC alternative with a built-in cell and a 203 m throw.

Read the runtime row for the mode you will actually leave a light on: steady-light work and 45-second burst work get different answers, and IMALENT publishes both rows.

Buying direct from the IMALENT store

This guide links to imalentstore.com, the store IMALENT sells direct from. The words below are what its pages state as of September 2026; several figures appear on more than one page and the pages do not always agree, so read the policy pages first and re-check at order time.

  • Shipping: the shipping policy page states that all products purchased on the IMALENT website are free shipping, with delivery 5 to 12 business days after dispatch, and buyers responsible for customs fees, duties and taxes in many international countries. The product pages' own FAQ panels give different windows: within 5 business days for US, Canada, Australia, UK, Japan and Europe (local warehouse), and 5 to 15 business days for other countries (China warehouse). Both figures are live on the store.
  • Returns: the return policy page states 30-day returns from the date of receipt, with an R.M.A. number obtained from IMALENT before sending anything back, items in original sealed factory cartons and unworn, and the buyer covering return shipping on change-of-mind returns. Faulty-item replacements are dispatched typically within two weeks, with the store covering the return shipping.
  • Refund timing: the return policy page says refunds may take 2 to 5 business days to appear; the product-page FAQ says allow 7 to 14 working days. Both figures are from different official surfaces and are live for now.
  • Warranty: the warranty page (at /pages/our-service) states 15 days of free repair or replacement after receipt under normal use, a 2-year warranty on the flashlight head and body, a 1-year warranty on the battery due to the natural degradation and charge-cycle limitations of rechargeable cells, and lifetime limited maintenance after the 24-month free period, with repair parts billed at actual cost and no labor charge. The warranty is nullified by unauthorized modification, damage through improper use, or battery leakage.
  • Payments: PayPal preferred, credit cards with 3D security, or an invoice by email or WhatsApp.

What to verify before you order

  • Current policy wording. Shipping windows, refund timing and support hours are stated differently on different official pages, and policies change. Open the policy page at order time, not a note from a guide.
  • The variant line. MS32/MS32W, MS03/MS03W and the BL50 colors are distinct variants with their own availability, and availability changes. Sold-out states appear per variant, not per product.
  • Battery facts for your destination. The store states no lithium shipping restriction, and this guide repeats none. Its FAQ page publishes a first-use handling note (remove the transparent battery protection before first use) and a warning against substituting non-original, higher-capacity 21700 cells into the models it rates for higher current: the FAQ's example names putting a 5,000 mAh 21700 into the MS03, warning the light will be protected or could burst because that cell cannot pass the 35 A current the light draws. Read the cell rating before swapping batteries in any of these.
  • Customs for your country. International orders may add customs fees, duties or taxes on the buyer, per the shipping policy.
  • Support scope. Warranty and returns are handled by IMALENT for orders made on imalentstore.com; the return policy states that orders from other platforms should go back to that seller first.

Frequently asked questions

Are the SR32 or the MS18 still for sale? The store's own pages say both are discontinued: the SR32 is listed sold out in both variants, the MS18 in its main variant, and both pages carry notices recommending the MS32 as the upgrade. One caveat from the research: the MS18W warm-white variant still showed as orderable on the page that announces the model discontinued, so if you see the MS18W for sale, that discrepancy is on the store. Neither model is a current recommendation here.

Does buying through the links on this page change what the store charges? No. The links carry IMALENT's referral parameter for its affiliate program, which tells the store which publisher to credit; you pay whatever the store shows.

How bright is the MS32? The specification table lists 200,000 lumens peak, and the spotlight above spells out the burst and the step-down. Whether that makes it the brightest flashlight on the market is IMALENT's claim, not an independent finding.

Are these lights waterproof? It depends on the rating: the BL50 lists IP68 (submersible to 2 m), the MS03 lists IPX-8 (2 m submersible), and the MS32 and SR16 list IP-56, a jet-and-dust rating, not a submersion rating. Read the row on the model you want.

Do the big lamps need special batteries? The MS32 runs a 12-cell 21700 pack and the SR16 a 4-cell pack; the MS03 takes one 4,000 mAh 21700 and the BL50 one 3,000 mAh 18650. The battery warranty is 1 year, separate from the 2-year head and body warranty.

Why do different pages give different delivery or refund times? The policy pages and the product-page FAQ panels do not agree: 5 to 12 business days on the shipping policy against within-5 or 5-to-15 on product pages, and 2 to 5 business days for refunds on the return policy against 7 to 14 working days in the product FAQ. Both sets were live as of September 2026; check the relevant page when you order.

Is IMALENT open to content sites linking to it? Its affiliate program page names flashlights bloggers and content sites as the partners it wants, runs on GoAffPro, and states that you do not need to have purchased an IMALENT product to promote it. The commission figures on that page differ between sections, so this guide says only that the program exists.
